I woke up to screams coming from down stairs. I opened my eyes and looked at my parents bed. No one was in it. I reached for the lach on the side of my crib and opened the tiny door. I jumped down and stumbled slightly. I wabbled to the door and looked down the long yellow hallway. My brother's door was open.
